So a milestone happened in the Price house on Tuesday. I officially sold my car. Eric turned in the release of liability- we got our money and paid off the loan. The person we sold the car to seemed really grateful for the opportunity and it really helped us out since we already have our replacement car, and had we not sold it, we would have paid 2 car payments.
I say bittersweet cause it was the first car that I would have purchased. Mind it wasn't soley in my name but i made the payments, and it was one of my "time line" goals that we just couldn't make happen, and it made more sense to sell and get a better deal through Eric's dad.
I realize how blessed I am to have family that can make saving money so easy. We have a way better car now- VW Tiguan. I LOVE IT!!!! It is actually cheaper then my VUE was and we don't have to pay ins, cause it is included in our lease. We will save about 300 a month, and we will be able to put that towards other things that need our attention. The car has a lot of features I would have not been able to afford.
God is GREAT and really comes through in a bind.
I am so blessed to have what i have and i am grateful.
In my book- win/win
The person who bought our car helped us out and we were able to help her as well.
Ending of an era. So long!
Eric and I met in college, got married and settled down in Corona, CA. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 leopard gecko. This is our story of funfilled craziness!

Starting to blog....

So I am fairly new to this whole blogging thing, so forgive me if I don't re post very often at first. I am married to my college sweetheart Eric, and together we share our home with our pets. Hence the name "Price Zoo". I have 2 cats (Toby and Callie), 2 Basset Hounds (Sophie and Dudley) and 1 leopard gecko (S.A.M). I work full time for a Mutual Fund company and I am also an independent consultant for Creative Memories. I LOVE TO SCRAPBOOK!!! I think that preserving our memories for future generations is what makes this crazy thing called life worth it. I love how looking back on great memories of family and friends can not only give you perspective on how far you have come, but also help you through rough times. I think every family should have some type of memory keeper. My goal this year is to get caught up on all my stuff..... Some much to do so little time. I also love to quilt and sew. I have like 4 or 5 baby quilts to sew.
Last little tid bit about me, I am very proud to say that i am nearing the "weight loss" phase of a very long year. I have lost about 55 pounds, and 5 more and I will be at Jenny's "goal weight" for me. I still want to tone, so I might lose a few more. It took a while to gain that much weight, but i find that it definitely seemed harder to lose it. I am proud that i accomplished this the "right" way. I didn't starve myself, nor did I deny myself what I wanted. I did get help from Jenny. Luckily I liked their food and we were able to swing the added expense. I feel I have come a long way and I hope that i never have to go down this road again. However, I do want children, so I will definitely keep up with my membership so that I have that tool when needed. Shopping for new smaller sizes has been fun too!!!
Enjoy the pics and funny stories... I am sure there will be lots to share!
